The National Arts Centre is delighted to announce that Gregory Charles’ live show, By Special Request/Sur demande spéciale, has been added to the Quebec Scene programming lineup to close the festival. In this exuberant bilingual presentation, master showman Gregory Charles performs favourites from his extensive repertoire of songs as well as special requests from the audience.

Phenomenon. Virtuoso. Insatiable artist. It's hard to find enough superlatives to describe Gregory Charles! Musician, dancer, singer, radio and TV host, and actor, not to mention music and history teacher, this incredibly versatile performer keeps popping up in the most unexpected places. His one-man show Black and White reached over 200,000 fans in Canada and in the United States; its resounding success confirmed his status as a "showman" in the finest American tradition, embracing blues, soul and French chanson with equal ease and skill.
