Hinda Essadiqi ~ El final del infinito (The end of infinity), Gaétan Gingras ~ Mon père m’a raconté
Arts Court, Theatre
What happens when you finally reach the end of infinity? The end becomes the beginning of a new cycle. Emerging Moroccan-born choreographer and dancer Hinda Essadiqi, appearing with Aladino Blanca, embarks on a physical journey to the heart of the Other, to the heart of the Self.
Gaétan Gingras
Gaétan Gingras’ artistic practice seeks to reveal the links between the spiritual and the everyday, the invisible and the visible, language and movement. In this new work he combines ritual, belief, and Aboriginal storytelling to explore how his Native heritage fits into our culture.
Hinda Essadiqi
Emerging choreographer Hinda Essadiqi creates raw, immediate works where bodies collide and stumble, wounding, loving, and supporting each other in their pain. Laissez-moi vivre jusqu’à demain (“Let me live until tomorrow”) is inspired by the myriad crises that are tearing the Arab world apart. Evil operates on a global scale, but it is also found at the cellular level… and within our hearts.,
