Hailed by audiences and critics around the globe, electrifying and influential choreographer Édouard Lock continues to expand the limits of his physical, mystical, vertiginous and sensual art. Quebec Scene is honoured to present the world premiere of his latest creation, featuring ten dancers and four musicians in a dazzling display of demanding technique, intricate structure, and breakneck speed. Interwoven sound and visual elements add to the raw beauty of the movement, shaping new forms of physical interaction. For over a quarter of a century, Édouard Lock and La La La Human Steps have been astonishing the world with their searingly powerful choreographic works. Édouard Lock is a Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Québec (2001) and an Officer of the Order of Canada (2002).
