About podcasts
A podcast is a downloadable audio programme in MP3 format. These audio files can be listened to by clicking a link on a web page. Podcast can also be automatically downloaded by subscribing to the program's "RSS" feed using a podcast program like iTunes. Once podcasts are downloaded, they can be listened to on your computer or moved to a portable MP3 player, like an iPod.
Subscribing to a podcast feed
Subscribing to a podcast allows you to download each new audio programmes as it becomes avaialble and then listen to it at your convenience, either at your computer or on your portable MP3 player. Subscribe to the NAC podcast feeds and never miss an episode.
What you'll need to listen to podcasts on your computer
- A sound card (if you've heard music on your computer before, you've got one)
- A media player that supports MP3 files like iTunes , Windows Media Player or Real Player.
How to subscribe in iTunes
- If you have iTunes installed on your computer, simply click on the "i" icon to subscribe.
